Saint Danilo II a Serb (Свети Данило 2 Ñ?рпÑ?ки) occurs as saint of the Serbian Orthodox Church. He was originally an archbishop during the flower of the Serb Nemanjic state under Tsar Dusan Silni in the 14th century. He was the chronicler world health organization wrote numerous hagiographies and regiographies which are considered as a part of Serb medieval literature.
He is celebrated on the equivalent day when Saint Ignatius of Antioch (Свети Игњатије БогоноÑ?ац), on December 20th according to a Julian, January 2nd by the contemporary Gregorian calendar.
